For almost sixty years (based on the publication of the first large corpus, Brown Corpus, in 1964), corpora-based works have become more prominent when dealing with linguistic description. From a small amount of corpora and works based on them to the mega-corpora (based on billions of words) available on the Internet and the infinity of research that can be generated from them, this edition of RELIN proposes to scrutinize the past, present and future of this approach and methodology (or even theory, for some) that works with empirical data from real examples of language use. In order to do so, we are considering receiving texts that use corpora to develop research on the following topics: linguistic description, teaching, terminology and terminography, lexicology and lexicography, translation, software development and training, etc.
