call for symposia
The Association Internationale de Linguistique Appliquée - AILA is pleased to announce the opening of the call for symposia for the international congress to be held from 17 to 21 July 2023 in Lyon (France). The congress will be held in hybrid mode on the theme: ''Diversity and social cohesion in a globalised world: towards more committed language sciences''. It will be the opportunity to celebrate the 20th AILA congress but also, one year ahead, the 60th anniversary of AFLA, founded in 1964.
Call for Papers:
Following the format of the AILA 2021 Congress in Groningen (The Netherlands), we invite researchers to submit proposals for symposia (deadline: 8 March 2022) and then a call for individual submissions will be launched in spring 2022. Individual submissions should integrate the theme of one of the symposia selected in the first phase. The standard format of the symposia will be hybrid, but the novelty is that we will be able to offer symposia in a 100% remote format with reduced registration fees. Another new feature is that the symposia can be in 4 languages: French, English, Spanish and German. Our objective is to offer better accessibility to the congress through the hybrid format, to think about a logistical approach anchored in sustainable development and to propose an event on a human scale.
You will find all the information about the call for submissions on the dedicated platform: https://aila2023.sciencesconf.org/
