Dear AILA-Europe members,
As announced in September 2015, the AILA-Europe Junior Researchers Meeting (JRM) will take place in Tallinn, from May 19-21, 2016. The topic for this year is:
THINKING APPLIED LINGUISTICS: MOBILITY, DIVERSITY AND COMMUNICATION
The AILA-Europe Meeting will take place on Friday, May 20, 2016, at 15:00h. Please send me the names and email addresses of your affiliate's representative.
The main items on this year's agenda will be:
- shared image and visibility of AILA Europe
- discussion within the BAAL about an AILA Europe membership
- next JRM (so far VERBAL and GALA have shown interest in organizing the meeting)
Any delegates who would like to present a paper at the conference can do so within the special AILA-Europe strand of the same day. It would be ideal if your representative's paper could address the conference theme. This would be in line with the aim of the conference to foster the exchange of expertise from more experienced researchers to the next generation of young researchers with a focus on a particular area of investigation.
